Since 2017, we’ve been meeting and photographing the loveliest couples and most exciting weddings. We’ve shot all kinds of celebrations, but it’s those laid back, minimal fuss ones that we’re super passionate about. Wherever you’re going, if you’re planning a relaxed day that isn’t all about creating a ‘fairytale spectacle’ – then we’re going to get along great.
Our style is best described as Fine Art with a Contemporary Approach. Hugely inspired by nature, organic tones and muted colour palettes are defining features of our work. We love to keep things minimal, authentic, and timeless.
We work quietly in the background, catching the smaller details and split second moments. Our documentary approach means we capture the day as it unfolds, creating a beautiful visual storyline. Capturing photos of you two is the part of the day where we take a more forward role, and guide you into the photographs you’ll love and cherish. Naturally, no awkward poses!
Kinds Words from Past Couples
Emma & Jo
After seeing some of Charlotte’s photos previously, she was the obvious choice! She captured the essence of day perfectly, and took hundreds of photos without being noticed. After the wedding, the images were delivered in great time, and we are over the moon with the result! We recommend her very highly!
Heather & Sam
I’ve spent the last 2 days just looking and looking at the photos. We absolutely love them, thank you so much! You both really captured the day so perfectly and beautifully! All guests that we’ve shared them with have said they’re just a perfect representation of the day, so thank you.
Sally & Chris
Thank you Charlotte for your friendly and professional approach throughout. We particularly loved the natural content of your photography. You captured those special moments and made us remember our day perfectly!
Who is the second photographer, and why do we need two?
I shoot 9 out of 10 weddings with my partner, Dave. Using two photographers is great for us, and even better for you! It means that Dave and I can support each other throughout the day. Further, we can get more and better angles, capture every possible moment and not miss a beat. We love getting to work together too! In short, it means you’ll end up with more photos, and in addition, much more variation.
How long is 'Full Day' Coverage?
Full day coverage starts during morning prep, and ends after we’ve caught the first people on the dance floor. This is usually around 8 – 9 hours. We don’t shoot above 10 hours (because it’s honestly never been needed!)
Do you carry back up equipment?
Yes! We’ve never had gear stop working during a wedding, but if we did, rest assured we have it covered.
How many photographs do we get?
On average, we usually deliver between 250 – 400 beautifully edited photographs.
How long do we have to wait for the photos?
If you’re getting married in peak wedding season, the turnaround time is currently 5-7 weeks, although often sooner.
Should we have formal group photographs?
Most couples tend to opt for group photographs – but that doesn’t mean you need to. Before deciding to go ahead and do it, be sure to have a chat with me about the logistics (yawn! I know). Honestly though. There is nothing worse on your wedding day than the stress caused by an AWOL Uncle or Aunt, so try to keep the number to a minimum 🙂
What if I hate having my photo taken!?
Truly, I’m yet to meet a couple who love it! If you’re really comfortable already then that’s great. On the other hand, if you’re not, that’s fine too! We don’t do awkward poses. Instead, we’ll guide and direct you, using natural movements and cues to make sure we capture relaxed photographs.
Do you travel?
In short, yes! We’ve been providing Wedding Photography in Yorkshire and the rest of the UK since 2017. Some lovely couples have invited us to some exciting places over the next couple of years. Just tell us where you’re heading and get in touch!
Do you shoot film?
I do! Sometimes I like to include some film as an added extra. Film is my favourite thing to shoot, and additionally, it gives you a little more variation too.
