Last Autumn, I was asked to photograph the gorgeous new Danish Buildings in Hull. With the city’s historic Old Town as it’s backdrop, these new creative office spaces are gorgeous inside and out. And, with the location being so close to the city centre, as well as other exciting locations (such as Trinity Market and the Hepworth Arcade area), there couldn’t be a better place for young new businesses to thrive.
I particularly loved how light and airy the spaces were, and how much character they held. A world away from lifeless offices, these contemporary spaces offer a the perfect balance of old and new. With fresh fittings and new interiors, combined with the buildings historic features – like the gorgeous fireplaces, architecture and cast iron banister. The communal kitchen area, too, is as equally clever as it is gorgeous, allowing likeminded creatives to meet and talk throughout their working day. Here is a small selection from the shoot.
